Head chef Damnjan Draganić enriched his experience over the years working in prestigious European restaurants, mostly in Austria, and has now returned to where he started, continuing his career at Dida.

The emphasis is on quality seasonal and local ingredients, as well as fish from the daily catch. Alongside the à la carte dishes he offers a tasting menu and fresh homemade pasta. Top-quality ingredients, unique technique and dedication to every dish, shaped to perfection on your plate, inviting you to savour each course.

The dishes that define this restaurant are Kvarner scampi with skuta (fresh curd cheese) and Kvarner scampi soup with cuttlefish profiteroles and herb oil. Also recommended is the Carbonara Dida, made with homemade tagliatelle, Drniš prosciutto and Istrian truffle, while the kitchen’s speciality is the Roman-style gnocchi with a sauce of scampi and Istrian truffle.

The kitchen is accompanied by the restaurant’s professional and friendly service, with a Croatian and international wine list. In addition to wine pairing, each course is served with exceptional olive oil, best matched to the dishes, so that every bite is refined in flavour and perfectly balanced.
